Engine 5 is a 2001 KME combination engine and rescue.

Engine 5 carries 6 personnel along with 1000 gallons of water and a 2000 GPM pump. It has a 15 KW PTO driven generator with a 6000 watt light tower and a power reel, on-board CODE3 Extrication Power Unit with 200' reels, heavy cutters, spreaders and rams. It is outfitted with cribbing for stabilizing an accident vehicle along with high pressure air bags for lifting, and a variety of rope rescue gear and EMS/BLS equipment. This engine carries 1500' of 5" hose along with a variety of saws and fans, a thermal imaging camera, cold water rescue suit, torch set, MSA 45 minute SCBAs, spare bottles and an RIT kit with a 60 minute bottle . It also carries Class A and AR-AFFF foam and is equipped with a 12,000 lb. and an 8,000 lb winch. Engine 5 is the first out of Station 1 for all calls of fire, MVAs and EMS.
